Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. Model and actress well known for her roles in television and in films. Brandt was a model and actress who started her acting career in the New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom and was able to make her American debut in the role of Naevia as part of the historical series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, the actress has been featured in a ton of TV shows including the likes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt began playing Mazikeen (the part performed by Tom Ellis Lauren German, as well as Kevin Alejandro) in the Urban-fantasy show Lucifer back in the year 2016. Brandt was brought up in Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens she immigrated along with her parents in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's professional career began as a fashion model after she was featured in magazine and television advertisements. The rise of her to fame as a model began while she worked in the retail industry and recruitment for information technology. She played Leilani, a New Zealander in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. in 2021, her first significant role was in the role of Naevia the slave girl on Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. As well, she has reprised the Naevia character in the prequel miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her on three shows that aired on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing Mazikeen the demon that seeks bounty on Netflix's top show Lucifer. This is her most memorable role so far. On the show she co-stars with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
